I’ve been a freelance journalist, editor and proofreader for over 25 years, with specific expertise in consumer health and science communication. I’m Freelance Health Editor for Bupa (copy-editing and updating consumer health information on the Bupa website). I also write for several consumer and pharmacy magazines on a regular basis. My murder mystery debut novel, The Redeemer, has been shortlisted for ‘Best Debut Crime Novel In 2022’ in the Crime Fiction Lover Awards 2022.

I have a BSc. in Biomedical Science from King’s College London and an MSc. in Science Communication from Imperial College London.

I proofread and copy-edit fiction and non-fiction (including memoir).

Between 2017 and 2018, I updated the bestselling baby healthcare book Your Baby Week by Week by Dr Caroline Fertleman and Simone Cave for Ebury/Vermilion. My own book, Allergies: A Parent’s Guide, was published by Need2Know Books in 2009.
