I, Victoria Goldman, am committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of my website users.

  • details about your query and your project (if you are a client of my editorial services)
  • demographic information, such as postcode, preferences and interests (if you sign up to my Readers’ Club)
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers (if you sign up to my Readers’ Club)

I will use the above information to contact you when it is necessary. If you contact me, I will keep a record of that correspondence for a minimum of five years. Please inform me if your personal information needs correcting or updating.

My main enquiry form and Readers’ Club sign up form DO NOT store any information provided; if information is being collected, you will be clearly notified.

Why and where I store your personal data

I will use collected data for accounting and business purposes and for compliance with HMRC (UK tax authority) regulations. I will also use it to contact you regarding your query or project. 

All of your emails to me, and the information you provide to me, are stored on a password-protected computer, network drive and/or password-protected email account. I cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet; any transmission is at your own risk. Once I have received your information, I will take reasonable precautions, using strict procedures and security features, to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Access to information

Your personal data and any correspondence will be kept for a minimum of five years. You have the right to access information held about you, as long as you can provide appropriate evidence of identity.

Cookies and website usage

My website uses ‘cookies’ to track patterns of visitor behaviour. You can set your browser to prevent this happening. Any information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you change your browser settings.

My website may use Google Analytics. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated relating to my website is used to create reports about the use of the website.
